Jiu Jitsu Dummies Podcast is a business name of The Fighter Inside LLC ("Jiu Jitsu Dummies," "we," "us"). By using jiujitsudummies.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our merch store at jiujitsudummies.shop has its own terms for orders, shipping and returns.

Episodes, clips and articles are for entertainment and general information only. Nothing here is medical, legal, financial or professional training advice. Jiu Jitsu and other martial arts carry a real risk of injury. Train under a qualified instructor and talk to a doctor before starting or changing any training.

Our content

The Jiu Jitsu Dummies name, logo, episodes, video, photos and site content belong to Jiu Jitsu Dummies or our partners. You can share links and embed our episodes using the platform's own share tools. Please don't copy, re-upload, edit or sell our content without written permission.

What you send us

When you send a question, comment, story, photo or guest pitch, you give us permission to read, use, edit and share it on the show, in clips and on social media, with or without your first name, at no cost to us. Don't send anything you don't have the right to share. We may choose not to use any submission.

Guest appearance and media release

This section applies to anyone who appears on a Jiu Jitsu Dummies episode, in studio or remotely, including guests, co-guests and people on camera during a recording.

• Recording rights. By taking part in a recording, you grant Jiu Jitsu Dummies, its hosts, producers, sponsors and assigns the irrevocable, worldwide, royalty free right to record, edit, publish, distribute and promote your appearance in any format or medium, now known or later developed.

• Name, image and likeness. This includes the right to use your name, voice, image, likeness, statements, biographical details and any logos or materials you provide, in the episode and in clips, Shorts, thumbnails, photos, social posts, ads and promotion for the show and its sponsors.

• Ownership. Jiu Jitsu Dummies owns the recordings, photos and edits made during your appearance. You keep ownership of your own name, brand and any pre existing material you bring.

• No payment. Guest appearances are unpaid unless we agree otherwise in writing.

• Your statements. You are responsible for what you say on the show. Please don't share confidential information or make claims about other people you can't stand behind.

• Editing. We may edit, shorten or not publish any recording at our discretion.

• Release. You release Jiu Jitsu Dummies and its hosts and producers from claims related to the authorized use of your appearance as described here.

We may also ask guests to sign a separate written release. If there is a conflict, the signed release controls.

Giveaways

Prizes for listener questions, like mugs or sponsor swag, are given at our discretion while supplies last. No purchase is necessary and prizes have no cash value.

Sponsors and links

We mention and link to sponsors and other sites. We are not responsible for their products, services, content or policies. Sponsored mentions are identified on the show.

Text messages

If you opt in to text messages, the terms in our Privacy Policy apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

No warranties and limits on liability

The site and show are provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Jiu Jitsu Dummies is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages from using the site or acting on anything said on the show.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
